Classroom Settings

We have two classrooms set up during the school year. One classroom is upstairs for the younger kids, that is the Bear group. The downstairs classroom is the Tiger group. The classroom activities are planned to develope skills that are needed for today and later in life. Each week activities are planned within a theme that are in interest to the children.

Bear Group

3-4 year olds

This is our youngest group, including children that are 3 turning 4. Each day the children have "circle time" and a project. During circle time the children do exercise and are taught the date, the season, the weather, and read a story. The children are given semi-annual progress reports throughout the year.

Tiger Group

4-5 year olds

The older group is a kindergarten prep class.  Each day the children have "circle time" and a project. Each week there is a homework assignment given out, and once a week the children work on their "Alphabet, Shapes, and Numbers" book. During circle time the children do excersise, and then are taught the date, season, weather, and read a story. At the end of the school year, there is a graduation ceremony for parents and family to celebrate the moving on to the kindergarten level.

After School Program

Grades K-4

Our after school program picks up from Jenks and Performing Arts Charter School. The children work on their homework and then go out and play if it is nice weather out. The teachers help the children with their homework and guide them through their studies.
